Siblings, aged just 3 and 5, die in a serious accident. The tragic accident that occurred last Sunday (21), on the Transacreana Road, in Rio Branco, still reverberates among the residents of Acre. The episode, which resulted in the death of two children, once again exposed a worrying reality: the transportation of minors on motorcycles without the use of adequate protective equipment.
The case not only shocked the local community, but also reignited discussions about road safety and the need for greater driver awareness.
According to authorities, the family was traveling when the tire on their motorcycle blew out, causing the driver to lose control and crash into a power pole. There were four people on board: the stepfather, Juciclei da Silva do Carmo, 25; the mother, Melry Wanda da Silva Carneiro, 23; and Valentina Rebeca, just 3, and Arthur Miguel, 5.
