Master P Criticizes Birdman Over Turk Fallout
Master P has reignited debate in the hip-hop world after criticizing Birdman’s recent outburst toward former Hot Boys member Turk.
Speaking on Celeb Source, he contrasted their leadership styles, saying,
“I think in that moment, it was a defining thing between a boss and a leader.”
Master P argued that Birdman’s harsh words were unnecessary, adding,
“Some people from New Orleans, they’ll tell you what’s on their mind, but I just wouldn’t have done that.

That’s just not how I’m built.” He emphasized handling personal issues with empathy rather than anger.
Birdman’s remarks toward Turk — both insulting and affectionate — left fans confused.
Master P compared them to “a gift that looks good on the outside but is empty inside.”
Amid the tension, Master P also mourned the loss of fellow artist Young Bleed,
urging unity and compassion in a culture often overshadowed by conflict.
