Candace Owens fires back at Erika Kirk after the widow responded with a defiant one-word message to her conspiracy claims

Candace Owens Claps Back at Erika Kirk

Candace Owens has fired back after Erika Kirk accused her of spreading conspiracy theories about her husband Charlie Kirk’s death.

The Tragic Shooting

Charlie Kirk, a conservative commentator known for controversial views on reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ issues, gun ownership, and civil rights, was fatally shot on September 10 at Utah Valley University during his Turning Point USA tour. Authorities have arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, believed to have acted alone.

Tensions Rise Between Owens and Kirk Family

Since the tragedy, relations between Erika Kirk and Candace Owens, once close like “brother and sister,” have been strained. Owens has repeatedly suggested government cover-ups and possible foreign involvement in the assassination. She has also made allegations about financial irregularities at Turning Point, where Erika serves as CEO.

Erika’s Message to Conspiracy Theorists

In a preview of a CBS News interview airing December 13, Erika addressed the conspiracy claims:

“Stop. That’s it. That’s all I have to say. Stop.”

She also told Fox News:

“Come after me. Call me names. I don’t care. But when you target my family and my Turning Point USA family… and profit from these claims, no. This is righteous anger. It’s not healthy. It’s a mind virus.”

Owens Responds

Owens reacted in a lengthy YouTube podcast, defending her comments:

“Erika would like me to stop lying. I can only do that if she tells me what I’ve lied about. I want to honor that. But we’re still getting rehearsed answers. Where’s the passion?”

Owens also accused Erika of having what she called “Meghan Markle syndrome”—seeking privacy and publicity on her own terms. She expressed concern over the handling of Charlie Kirk’s death and criticized some employees and friends for their behavior since the incident.

“I want to be clear. Nothing feels right to me about the assassination and the way people have acted. I’m sorry if that offends you, Erika.”

Official Clarifications

Meanwhile, the Treasury Department confirmed to Erika that none of the tax-exempt information she provided is under IRS investigation.

Ongoing Fallout

The feud highlights ongoing tension between public figures in the conservative world. While Erika demands privacy and respect for her family, Owens continues to question and challenge the narrative. The situation remains tense as both sides maintain their public stances.
