Donald and Melania Trump aren\u2019t usually very affectionate toward each other in public. However, last week they both kissed on stage, and the official White House X account posted a picture of them holding hands. Still, social media went into a meltdown over the post \u2013 calling it \u201cthe worst attempt at damage control.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Donald and Melania Trump\u2019s marriage has always stirred up emotions. The couple has been reported to be doing poorly.<\/p>\n

For example, Trump author Michael Wolff, who\u2019s. written several books on Trump, and making the president despise him, have said that Melania \u201chates\u201d her husband.<\/p>\n

The New York Times piece from May 2025, which said Melania had spent only 14 days at the White House since the move in January, fueled speculation that they weren\u2019t the most lovable couple.<\/p>\n

However, in the last week, Donald and Melania have shown affection towards each other in public several times. When the President and First Lady of the United States signed the executive order \u201cFostering the Future for American Children and Families\u201d on November 13, they were pictured kissing.<\/p>\n

After the first lady had held her speech and received an ovation, Trump gave Melania a kiss, saying, \u201cWhy, thank you, Melania, and our country is truly blessed to have this magnificent and very caring First Lady.\u201d<\/p>\n

The White House shared a picture of them kissing a day later, with the caption \u201cI can\u2019t help falling in love with you.\u201d Two days later, another picture was shared. Donald and Melania were seen holding hands, and the caption read, \u201cAmerica\u2019s power couple.\u201d<\/p>\n
