Now, the president is in hot water again after slamming a female reporter on social media with comments about her looks.<\/p>\n<p>President Donald Trump has been the most outspoken president in history. His tone on social media has left many furious, with some saying he is disrespecting the office of the President of the United States by commenting on people\u2019s looks.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-1\">\n<div data-type=\"_mgwidget\" data-widget-id=\"1691648\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Trump has given many of his political opponents insulting nicknames. As recently as on Wednesday, he called the Governor of Illinois, JB Pritzker, a \u201cfat slob.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-6\">\n<div id=\"readupdatednews.com_responsive_2\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>A few weeks ago, while on board Air Force One, Trump called a reporter \u201cpiggy,\u201d which caught a lot of fire among journalists and Democrats. Meanwhile, many of his allies stood by him.<\/p>\n<p>Now, Trump has once again called out a female journalist because of what he claims to be fake reporting, and he did so by attacking her appearance.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-9\">\n<div id=\"readupdatednews.com_responsive_1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>New York Times journalist Katie Rogers co-wrote an article about Donald Trump scaling back on his public appearances compared to his first presidential term. The article claimed his attempts to project \u201cround-the-clock energy, virility and physical stamina\u201d had become difficult, mainly because of his age (79).<\/p>\n<p>Donald Trump slams \u2018ugly\u2019 female reporter<br \/>\nBut the president was having none of it. On social media, Trump lashed out against the story, calling The New York Times an \u201cenemy of the people.\u201d Moreover, he claimed he had the highest poll numbers, ever,\u201d and implied it would \u201conly go up\u201d thanks to his work.<\/p>\n<p>Further, he decided to slam Katie Rogers\u2019 looks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Creeps at the Failing New York Times are at it again,\u201d Trump wrote on Truth Social on Wednesday. \u201cRadical Left Lunatics in the soon to fold New York Times did a hit piece on me that I am perhaps losing my Energy, despite facts that show the exact opposite.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201cThe writer of the story, Katie Rogers, who is assigned to write only bad things about me, is a third rate reporter who is ugly, both inside and out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere will be a day when I run low on Energy, it happens to everyone, but with a PERFECT PHYSICAL EXAM AND A COMPREHENSIVE COGNITIVE TEST (\u2018That was aced\u2019) JUST RECENTLY TAKEN, it certainly is not now!\u201d Trump concluded.<\/p>\n<p>The New York Times decided to act. In a statement shared with People Magazine, the newspaper called out Donald Trump\u2019s behavior, especially that of insulting Katie Rogers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Times\u2019s reporting is accurate and built on first hand reporting of the facts. Name-calling and personal insults don\u2019t change that, nor will our journalists hesitate to cover this administration in the face of intimidation tactics like this. Expert and thorough reporters like Katie Rogers exemplify how an independent and free press helps the American people better understand their government and its leaders,\u201d the newspaper wrote.<\/p>\n<p>White House responds<br \/>\nWhite House spokesperson Abigail Jackson also issued a statement, saying that the president\u2019s comments over the last few weeks have not been related to gender.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPresident Trump has never been politically correct, never holds back, and in large part, the American people re-elected him for his transparency.
